I graduated from Shanley High School in Fargo, ND in 1988. Shanley is part of the Catholic Schools Network in Fargo-Moorhead. I graduated from Minnesota State University – Moorhead (MN) in 1993, 2000, and again in 2001.

I have attended many conferences and workshops over the years, mostly focusing on my interest areas of autism spectrum disorders and dyslexia/learning disability identification.
I have worked in Augusta schools since 2012. I currently serve students at Lincoln Elementary, Ewalt Elementary, and St. James Catholic School in addition to my responsibilities at AMS.
From 2000 to 2011, I worked at most of the El Dorado schools at various times. I have extensive experience with people who have autism spectrum disorders. Much of this experience occurred before I went back to school for school psychology.
When I am not working, I enjoy reading and watching movies with my kids. Tropical fishkeeping has been my main hobby since I was a child.
I have two children, born in 2004 and 2006, who attend USD 402. I have a dog, Mikey, and a large aquarium. We also have two cats, Cupcake and Lovey. My mother and sister live in Fargo, ND, which is where I grew up.
