I began working at Augusta Middle School as a Registered Nurse in 2007. I am here to promote health and to assist our students with many health issues, in partnership with family and community, in an effort to keep them at school ready to learn! Some of my responsibilities include:
I have had a varied nursing career, which includes experience in Critical Care Nursing, Emergency Nursing, Intra-operative nursing, and Nursing Management in an out-patient surgical facility. This varied experience enables me to handle a wide array of situations that arise or could potentially arise with students on a daily basis.
My husband and I have been residents of Augusta for 30 years. We have 4 daughters and they all attended Augusta Schools. We feel proud of the education they received in the Augusta school system. We now have grandchildren attending school in Augusta.
