Augusta Middle School

AMS teacher Ann Patton was honored by the Kansas Department of Education as one of 32 outstanding first-year teachers in Kansas. Her exceptional performance has earned her this prestigious recognition. Ms. Patton is only the fifth teacher from Augusta to receive this distinction in the 21-year history of the Horizon Award program. She received a call from Dr. Watson, the Commissioner of Education, announcing her selection. Congratulations, Ms. Patton!
