Student Council

S.T.U.C.O. – Student Council

Student Council is a leadership program that is open to all students, 6th through 8th grade.  Student Council
members will be role-models and exhibit the four traits of a Bluejay on a daily basis:

  • Kind
  • Hard Worker
  • Helper
  • Positive Leader

One of the main jobs of a Student Council member is to volunteer in the concession stand.  In addition to working
in the concession stand, STUCO members host two school dances, create at least one service project to help the community, participate in Spirit Week activities and create locker posters to build school pride.

8th graders, who exhibit the four traits of a Bluejay and are academically eligible, can hold an officer position.  Elections for STUCO officers will take place in the spring for the following school year.

If you are interested in becoming part of Student Council, please see Mr. Westphal in Room 115 or email him at bwestphal@usd402.com.
