I started teaching 6^th grade at Augusta Middle School in 2006. I came to Augusta as an English/ELA teacher for one year and have been teaching math ever since. 

In 1997, I started teaching in Mulvane and continued to teach there for ten years. While I was in Mulvane, I taught 5^th grade for three years where I taught all core subjects at one time or another.  From 2000-2007, I taught 6^th grade and again taught all core subjects.

I enjoy watching and playing all sports in my free time, but prefer basketball and softball. I spend a lot of time reading during the summer and looking into our family’s geneology. The thing that I like to do the most when I’m not teaching is to spend time with my children doing what they love to do.
